Plainco
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Translation of the Spanish original. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of Plainco, the service from Plainco to read, organise, sign and keep track of contracts. By creating an account, you accept them on your own behalf and on behalf of the company you represent. Plainco is intended for businesses and professionals.
2. Sign-up and account
To use Plainco you need an account with an email and a password. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password safe and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for what the people you invite to your organisation do.
3. Plans and payments
Plans, prices and add-ons are those published on Pricing. Prices exclude VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe and charged in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the period you choose. We do not store your card details.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel them. You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, you keep the plan until then, and partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.
If we change prices, we will let you know at least 30 days in advance and the change will apply from the next renewal.
5. Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing, has no time limit and lets you keep up to 2 contracts in your portfolio. It does not include paid add-ons. To have more, you can move to a paid plan at any time. We may change the Free plan’s conditions with at least 30 days’ notice.
6. Your data and exporting it
The contracts and data you upload are yours. You only give us the permission needed to provide the service. You can export them at any time from your account’s data settings.
For the personal data contained in your contracts, you are the controller and Plainco acts as processor, under article 28 GDPR and the Privacy Policy.
7. Use of AI: results for guidance only
Plainco uses AI to read contracts and suggest data, alerts, comparisons and draft emails. The results are for guidance only, may contain errors and are not legal, tax or financial advice. Always check the original document (each data point shows the clause it comes from) and, for important decisions, consult a professional.
Plainco never acts on your behalf: sending, cancelling or signing is always up to you.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Plainco for unlawful purposes, upload content you have no right to process, try to access other organisations’ data, reverse-engineer the service or get around your plan’s limits. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, letting you know first unless there is an urgent risk.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Plainco available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces what your plan includes, we will let you know in advance.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Plainco is not liable for decisions you make based on the results of the service, or for indirect damages such as loss of profit or of opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Closing your account and deletion
You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@plainco.io. We recommend exporting your data first. After closure, we delete your organisation’s data, except what we must keep by law, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms significantly, we will let you know at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can close your account before they apply.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the registered address of Plainco, unless the law sets a mandatory venue. Contact: hello@plainco.io.
